Title: Looks like Worley is #2 now Post by: PirateVOL on October 10, 2011, 11:28:44 EDT Would have loved him RS'ing but it looks like that isn't in the cards now. My view is that unless the game is on the line in the 4th Saturday, get him some reps. We need him to get a taste of the speed of the college game before he gets thrust into game action that counts. Hopefully we can avoid what the crocs have gone through the last two weeks.
While I have not been a huge fan of Simms we have and can win with him. Once Simms had a moment to think things through he has handled his demotion to #2 with class to the public and I believe that he deserves kudos for that, it had to have been difficult. He has my support but hope we can get Worley some snaps so we at least have someone with some, if limited, experience behind Simms. One thing he is constantly criticized for is his seeming inability to make a decision quickly. Maybe that will change. Either way he is the guy for now.
I have no problem with Worley as no. 2. If Bray leaves after next season, that could really work out for Worley. |
