Title: But seriously: Only SEC officials could fizzle up a play that badly...
Post by: Black Diamond Vol on November 20, 2011, 04:35:10 EST
...First they miss the knee not being down, then they say there was no whistle, which there clearly was (the ref who blew it probably wouldn't admit to it after seeing the replay on the jumbotron), and somehow, they still manage to arrive at the correct outcome.  Who says two wrongs don't make a right?

The official clearly blew it. He ran up to mark the spot of the "dead ball".

I think the Side Judge was blocked from seeing it and "assumed" his knee went down.  I didn't think Dooley was going to challenge and I was screaming at the TV.

You obviously never watch ACC officials in action
