Title: Do you count this as Dooley's 2nd year or his 1st because of recruiting?
Post by: GreggO on December 17, 2011, 06:51:53 EST

Actually, this year is CDD's first year as far as it being his first full year of recruiting (the 2011 class and the results). So, do we count the 2012 class as his second year or do we call the 2010 program his first year? I don't think it's fair to call 2010 his first year, but at the same time I'm pissed he did worse his first class (2011) than the left-overs he had in 2010. Is this reasonable? How many years does he get? Should we expect that he could be here until 2014 to see the "TURN-AROUND"?

Don't get me wrong; I want to see Coach succeed, but at the same time, "He better do it".

Honestly I count it as his 2 1/4, he already had most of Kiffy's class.

Not sure exactly what you mean, but this will be the second "all Dooley" class.  His first class was salvaged from Kiffin.  So this coming year he will have 2 classes completely recruited by him, and one that is half his and half Kiffin's.
