Title: 2013 recruiting
Post by: Black Diamond Vol on February 10, 2012, 03:05:53 EST
Rivals' initial rankings are out, and 3 of our 4 early commits are 4* and in the top 250.  And Camion Patrick has yet to be evaluated, but could very well garner a similar rating.  This is a banner year for in-state talent, so if we have a decent season this fall and Dooley manages to stave off the negative recruiting coming at him from all sides, this could be his best class yet.

Now that's encouraging.  The class this year was a bit weak compared to Dooley's first two, though nowhere near as bad as Fulmer's 2008 class.

The three classes have all been about the same... this class was ranked lower because he only signed 20 this year where they signed 27 last year and 25 his first year. If you are comparing classes after NSD, look at the average star rating... 2010 was 3.44... 2011 was 3.41... 2012 was 3.40. The difference in the first class and the other two was that Da'Rick was a 5 star player.
