At this rate, I'll be shocked if we don't lose Chaney and Hinshaw before next season. Why not just turn over the entire staff en masse? Has that ever happened without an accompanying head coaching change? :dunno: :frown:

Title: Re: VQ reporting That Joseph has accepted the NEB job Post by: VinnieVOL on March 02, 2012, 10:55:19 EST Perhaps some combo of both.
Whatever it is, I don't remember ever being so personally indifferent about TN sports. There comes a time when the roller coaster starts making you nauseous and you want a break. I'm certainly not in a "I can't wait until next fall camp!" mode at all. In fact I don't think I ever really processed the loss to UK. I really just don't want to think about Dooley for awhile. Title: Vinnie, I agree with you Post by: VOLcrazi on March 02, 2012, 11:10:07 EST I'm so beyond over it. I will watch, and keep up, but I refuse to allow my emotions to be influenced by UT Football. If the powers that be can live with it, why shouldn't I?

I remember the good old days when I went into every football season wildly optimistic about our chances. These days I am more excited about basketball and baseball. :banghead: Title: Re: VQ reporting That Joseph has accepted the NEB job Post by: ReVOLver on March 03, 2012, 01:01:30 EST They are leaving because the perception is Dooley is on the hot seat.

For my part, bammer won another NC, and since I live in bammer that is kind of a disaster. But it's really given me perspective....seeing just how seriously some down here take it and what it seems to mean to their actual LIVES kind of makes the whole thing seem silly actually. At the end of the day, it's just a game after all. I am a passionate fan and I do care deeply if the Vols win, but the reality is that it's not something that really amounts to shizzle in the real world at the end of the day. |
