Title: Uconn leads Cuse 47-46 with about 7:00 to go...
Post by: Black Diamond Vol on March 08, 2012, 07:41:49 EST
A Uconn win would hurt us about as bad as any one game can.  If they beat SU, they'll probably have locked up an at-large birth.

What is it with those two in the BE tourney, anyway?  Seems like they play down to the wire every March.

Looks like SU is gong to pull it out.  Now we need to pull for Georgetown in this next game.

On the other hand, if there's any bubble team that was going to win over a 1-seed to get into the tourney, UConn would be the best because we have a win over them. There was a silver lining to this one no matter what.

From everything I had read, Uconn was in the tournament no questions asked and not on the bubble.  Lunardi had them as a 10 seed, which is comfortable in the field.  So I don't see how this helps or hurts us.

In his latest projections, Lunardi has Memphis an 8 seed in Kentucky's bracket.  I hope that happens. I would love to see Memphis get pounded like a red headed step child!

I would like to see them play about 28 OTs and both teams collapse from exhaustion.  But that's just me.
