Title: Re: Pat Robertson wished injury on Peyton Manning Post by: BanditVol on March 23, 2012, 03:59:28 EDT he didn't "wish" it on them, he just pointed out that there was a risk of re-injury, and that if it happened it would "serve them right".
I am in no way endorsing him or his ridiculous POV, but in fairness he did not say "I hope Peyton gets re-injured". There IS, in fact a risk there, and the Broncos are taking it. What's the bigger risk: The 36 year old vet, coming off injury, who sees the whole field, has a lightning quick release, and can read defenses better than anyone who has ever played the game? Or the young guy who rarely gets beyond his first read before tucking and running, with a glacial release, and perhaps the worst pocket awareness in the NFL? Remember, Tebow was knocked unconscious his senior year at UF- not by a blindside hit, but by a guy right in front of him. And he didn't even see it coming. I would submit that Tebow is just as big of an injury risk as Manning, if not bigger. Mainly because he runs so much and takes guys head on Title: Re: Pat Robertson wished injury on Peyton Manning Post by: Stogie Vol on March 23, 2012, 05:42:51 EDT As a Christian, I'd just like to say that Pat Robertson most definitely does not speak for me....on this issue and others.
