I could think of others that I would want to be Head Coach more than Smart.

He may be great head coach himself, but so far there's no evidence that he can develop his assistants into HC material. Dooley, Muschamp, and Fisher aren't exactly setting the world on fire. Smart may get a HC gig and succeed, but he would be the first.
