"@ChrisVernonShow: I know at least 5 national writers that have had their boss called by Calipari to get them censored or fired."

"No cap issues at Kentucky"

I suspect the writer doesn't realize just how accurate that is. :frown:

Could top HS recruits early commitments be an indication of Cal & Knicks?  I don't follow basketball recruiting very much.  When do we normally hear those?

Yeah, he wants to go out while technically still the champ.

"Vacation III" is coming, starring Chevy Chase as Calipari.  Bank it.

We can't compete with Calipari in the SEC.  If we could just sign 1 player the caliber of any of his starting 5 we would consider it a good haul.  If we could get 2 it would be a super recruiting year for us.  He can go out and get 5 more every year.

Calipari won;t go anywhere IMO. He knows he is king here in Lex.

It's possible he's using it as leverage for a raise from UK, though I expect that having just won a title, they might pony up anyway.

I think the only reason Cal would leave UK would be to beat the NCAA out of town.  So if he leaves, you can be sure what's coming next.

Yes.  I will be very surprised if this does not happen.

What I don't understand is how it's not a bigger deal.  You have a guy who had to vacate not one, but TWO final four appearances at TWO different schools, and the media seems to just shrug it off.

Vs. how the coach at IU was tarred and feathered for making too many phone call or what happened to Bruce.   :dunno:

The only thing I can think of is that Nike $ells $o many $hoe$

That and as I posted above, Cal goes to great lengths to shut reporters up/shut them down.
