However, I'm dreading where all of this could lead. I'm seriously concerned this could have an impact on the game that's gonna effect everyone. Stupid rules are implemented because of stupid people's actions. Stupid people eventually ruin all good things.

Same here, talking about hard hits, putting fear into opponent, etc. is not shocking. Talking about taking out an ACL is bottom of the barrel.
