Title: FYI, Toomer's Oaks have been getting some help from a Vol arborist Post by: Clockwork Orange on April 12, 2012, 03:07:42 EDT Jim Cortese and Tom Perry, arborists with Cortese Tree Services in Knoxville, donated their time to perform an experimental injection of sugars into Toomer's Oaks in late March. If you live around here, you may have heard a few radio commercials for Cortese discouraging people from practicing tree topping . . . these are real tree people, not just someone selling something.
Cortese is a UT Forestry alum.
