Even if they qualify initially, they very well may not stay that way. Afterall, there's a reason they had to go JUCO in the first place.
I understand that when Dooley got here, we had a lot of holes to fill and needed some guys who could help immediately. But that's not really the case anymore. I hope DD will be a lot more selective with these guys in the future. If you can get a "can't miss" prospect like Patterson, then go ahead.
