Post by: 73Volgrad on July 01, 2012, 03:42:06 EDT According to thermistors on back porch, it topped out at 103.5°F at 3:56 PM on Saturday. 105°F at the airport to 103°F in Cedar Bluff. All I know is it was dang hot!!! Supposed to cool down to 101°F Sunday. Well break out the sweaters!

Of course, once you get past 100, I'm not sure there is much difference. Those were our first 100+ degree days since 1980, and only the fourth and fifth days in recorded history with 100+ temps here on the northern plateau.
