Why not?  Put him in at fullback in a power set. 

Didn't Shazzon Bradley have a 40s number, and if memory serves, so did John Chavis.  Both lined up with their hand on the ground.

Also, Billy Ratliff if I recall.  Wasn't he #40?

A lot of the guys who grow in to d-linemen started out as linebackers, so they likely grew up wearing 40s or other non traditional linemen numbers and want to stay with "their" number if it is available.

Great news!  And so, we are already ahead of the last two seasons, which featured nothing but bad news, and more bad news, and more bad news.  I shouldn't be so negative because  there was that one time that we got....more bad news, and then MORE bad news after that, but it was only TWO pieces of bad news, and not three.    :laugh:

So, one player a team does not make, but filling in one of our biggest needs with a 4-star recruit unexpectedly is just about the best thing to happen to this team in 2 years.   Let's keep this streak going.   :clap:
