Title: Saw on another board that Broadus Post by: SmokeyJoe on September 10, 2012, 06:31:23 EDT Will replace Palardy. When have we sucked this bad at placekicking?!?
Title: Re: Saw on another board that Broadus Post by: VinnieVOL on September 10, 2012, 06:33:06 EDT Yes, we have. Palardy will handle kickoffs.
I like it, shows me Dooley knows the implications. Title: Re: Saw on another board that Broadus Post by: ReVOLver on September 10, 2012, 06:34:51 EDT I think they are bracketed at co-starter.

Sounds like Palardy will do kickoffs but Brodus gets the start on placekicking duties. Should be interesting, and I understand why Dooley is ready to try Brodus. Good luck to him . . . he's worked hard but this is a tough game to come into. I'm glad to see a new kicker,I can't remember one this bad. Greg Burke sucked in 1990 Title: Re: Saw on another board that Broadus Post by: VinnieVOL on September 10, 2012, 06:47:23 EDT Sounds like Palardy will do kickoffs but Brodus gets the start on placekicking duties. All the more reason to hope the offense is clicking so we don't have to kick many FGs. Then again, Brodus is 2-2 on FGs and 4-4 on XPs. There's at least some track record. Also, Dooley mentioned he gets the ball up in the air, and that's something I thought was obvious Saturday. His trajectory is better than Palardy's. I just don't know what his range is like. OTOH Palardy has increased his range from last year so the true delta is probably not as great. Also, Dooley mentioned he gets the ball up in the air, and that's something I thought was obvious Saturday.
