Phil Steele predicted Florida would win the East this year, but I didn't want to believe him. They have South Carolina at home and may be able to beat Uga.
In short, UF may be better than expected this year. We still could have beaten them without a couple breakdowns on D that gave up some long plays, but I think they are, unfortunately, the better team. Uga has looked sluggish this year more than once. I completely agree that we could have beaten them and I am really disappointed that we did not. But I am not going to obsess over the streak with them. We will beat them when we beat them. There is a lot more to Tennessee football than how we play in one game. |
