Title: Upon further review (4 th quarter) Post by: PirateVOL on September 17, 2012, 03:10:15 EDT 1st O series (continuation of drive): big drop by CP on the fly pattern, could have been a game changer; bad pass ( or at least bad communication); nice catch by Riverra; IMO the TURNING POINT IN THE GAME, we punt on 4th and 1 at mid field
1 st D series: second play, nice coverage by Maggit; nice play by AJ forces a punt 2nd O series: we put Young into the game for the first time and were shocked the UF expected the screen; tipped pass when CP was open; DROP by Hunter 2nd D series: no back side contain AGAIN; stuffed the wildcat by J Smith; all out bliz, poor coverage by Teague, injury to Randolph trying to save the TD, took the air out of the defense 3rd O series: run the counter and AGAIN the RG turns up field too early, stuffed; pass thrown away; Bray pressured, incomplete 3rd D series: holding by a WR on Moore results in a long gain (of course the color guy missed it); stuffed a run; stuffed another run; we actually played the fly pretty well, Gordon stopped it short; long FG 4th O series: no receivers open; Tiny missed a blocked, loss; Bray completes a pass to Dooley, who was not a receiver 4th D series: they run out the clock 4 th quarter summary: a big drop on the first play followed by IMO by a poor decision by the former gambler to punt from mid field on 4th and one doomed us. We were gambling on defense trying to make a big play and got burned. Hunter I think was fatigued and had a big drop and his routes were far less crisp. The gators were teeing off and we didn't adjust well, either the coaches, the players or both. Too pass happy and can't fool anyone it appears.
