Post by: Black Diamond Vol on October 05, 2012, 09:07:15 EDT And whether the Braves win or lose, let me get it on the record now: I hate, hate, HATE this new wildcard round. If they want to add a 2nd wildcard team per league, fine. But don't make it a one game, win or go home series. Unlike most sports, baseball determines its best teams over the long haul. In one game, an otherwise inferior team can ride a hot pitcher to a win, whereas the team with a deep pitching staff 1-5 is shut out. They need to do this right, and make the opening round a 5 or 7 game series. :frown:
