If that is true that he discussed a buyout after last season, then he needs to be fired immediately and let's get this crap out of the way.

I have a hard time buying it, but hey, it's on the Internet.

Not listening to any sports talk shows at the moment but listening to Hyams and crew last Sunday. A caller said that the buyout money was available from a very affluent booster (un-named on air). Don't know who it is but I think my next tank of gas will be purchased from Pilot.

Maybe the AD is priming us for his "announcement".

Yes

I read your post in the other thread right after I posted that, pretty much what you were already saying.

Dooley was asked about this in his PC and said "he'd be a dumbass to do that"

Reading that blog sounds like there is still quite a bit of uncertainty and division at all levels of the University, not unlike what's happening with the fans.  Obviously there is more momentum against Dooley now and it will continue to build, but I don't find it a done deal at all from what the blog says.

OV...Gruden was the name being tossed around the Letterman Club Saturday.  I don't think it's a secret at all.  If there is a well-planned transition and it works well, I don't have an issue with it, even though I still want the season to play out.  My concern is another bad transition.

Which is really what my reaction in the other thread was about.  BDV...no disrespect, but to suggest Hart would be "forced to act" today by fan reaction the the alabummer game....not too credible.

And to be clear, if he did behave that way, then IMO he's about as bad or worse than Hamilton.

Should be an interesting several weeks coming up. In the meantime, I will be rooting for the Vols to beat USCe this week.

Don't put words in my mouth.  Here are my two posts on the issue:

I think the writing is definitely on the wall now, and a change is inevitable.  The only question is, how soon?  Driving home last night, I wondered if Dooley would even make it beyond Monday (tomorrow).

---------------------------------------------

I think you're probably right, but public sentiment is so strong now that I wouldn't be surprised if they throw that dog a bone sooner rather than later.  If they do, Hart had better already have a deal in place.

Normally, I wouldn't even respond.  But when you broke out the quotation marks, I had to.  At no point did I use the words "forced to act".

Yeah, I was paraphrasing.

I expressed my opinion on the idea in great detail above, so...

I was there for the Akron game and it was being talked about openly there then.
