Leach is a nerd, a clipboard guy . . . not an intimidator. I know nothing about his staff but can't buy that he could ever be abusive. Also, I would have taken Leach without hesitation when Fulmer was fired and when Kiffin left . . . but I think we need somebody different than that right now. Nothing about coming to UT makes sense for Gruden, by the way. He is an NFL coach. The only reason he would come to UT is if his wife really wants to come back home, and even then - what he makes now in his media work, $4.2 million per year - or $8 million to coach the Browns would buy a whole lot of plane tickets back to East Tennessee. It just doesn't make sense.
And on James Franklin - not just no, but hell no. Franklin is an ass hat. What has he really done at Vandy, besides beat Ole Miss? Last year he was the beneficiary of an incredibly weak schedule, and this year ouside of the Ole Miss win, his signature win came over an 8 loss Auburn team. No thanks.
