Title: So the WSU/UCLA game just came on ESPN...
Post by: Black Diamond Vol on November 11, 2012, 04:44:47 EST
...and they said that this is the first time ESPN has televised a WSU home game in 22 years.  How is that even possible?

:wow:  That program must have been in the shizzleter quite some time.

I heard that Leach is having trouble with players again.  Glad we didn't get him.

They went to the Rose Bowl when Ryan Leaf was there, and they've had a couple decent teams since then.  You'd think ESPN would've made their way up there at SOME point. :dunno:

True.  I think Leaf predated the era when just about every game was on ESPN.  That started around 2000 or so, I think.

Probably compounding the issue is that Pullman is the most remote major college town in America.  It makes Starkville look like the center of the universe. :dunno:

Yeah, but back then that was carried by a major network such as ABC, CBS, NBC...probably still is, for that matter.  He said ESPN

Almost as long ago as the Mt St Helen's eruption. Can you believe that was in 1980? Sheesh, where does the time go?
