Title: Dooley on his future Post by: Creek Walker on November 12, 2012, 06:21:17 EST Dooley said that he and Hart have spoken frankly about his future and he has been assured that a decision has not been made. He indicated that a decision will not be made until things are evaluated later, assuming he finishes 6-6. He said, "Either the sources are wrong or Dave was not forthright. And he's never given me a reason to distrust him." Later he sniped with Jimmy Hyams after Hyams kept pestering him about whether he feels like he deserves another year, saying, "I'm worried about Vanderbilt right now. I could give you compelling arguments why I should be (given another year) and there are arguments why I shouldn't. It isn't your decision to make and it isn't the sources decision to make. It's a decision for Dave Hart and the chancellor to make."
Title: Re: Dooley on his future Post by: 101stDad on November 12, 2012, 06:25:39 EST Hyams isn't going to be happy until Philip Fulmer is rehired, which means that Hyams will never be happy.
Time to go forward, not backwards. Title: Re: Dooley on his future Post by: VoLynteer on November 12, 2012, 06:29:43 EST I'm glad he put Hyams in his place.
Title: Re: Dooley on his future Post by: UTnbama on November 12, 2012, 06:32:57 EST I say, "Quit draggin this tragic soap opera out, FIRE DOOLEY...NOW"! It's obvious to even Smokey that the man can't coach, I couldn't care less what car wash he winds up in after UT, just get his dumb butt out of here, now, along with his ridiculous payout! The sooner he's out the sooner this pain ends, for everyone.
