Title: Future of the SEC opinion question
Post by: WoodstockVol on November 18, 2012, 10:24:35 EST
With Maryland possibly going to the Big 10-11 in the very near future(Rutgers will go to the Big 10-11 if Maryland goes). If the ACC looks to be falling apart will the SEC go after teams like Virginia Tech,Clemson,UNC or maybe GT?  I could see the SEC grabbing at the very least Virginia Tech and Clemson

First of all, losing Maryland will not destroy the ACC.  The tentpole programs in that league are on Tobacco Road, and everyone knows it.

But if something happened and we WERE to raid the ACC, we'd go after UNC and VPI, and failing one of those, FSU.  No one else brings much to the table that we don't already have in spades.
