I don't hate Notre Dame the way a lot of people do, but seeing everyone pile on the N.D. bandwagon is enough for me. Plus I still have a bad taste in my mouth from the way Stanford was robbed against N.D. earlier in the season.

Bear never did beat Notre Dame, just like he never beat Neyland. The Notre Dame-Bama rivalry was huge in the 70s. They played in the Sugar Bowl twice and did a home and away a couple times in the late 70s and early 80s.
