The FSU fans were so disappointed in the Florida game that a lot of them stayed home Title: Re: Not a real big difference in the attendence of the SECCG and the ACCCG Post by: 101stDad on December 03, 2012, 02:28:54 EST Sorry, but $4 tickets to the ACCCG on StubHub the morning of the game says that there were a ton of "sold" but not used tickets where among those 64K.

The SECC would have still been sold out....not so for the ACC....the SEC was limited by the size of the venue!

Charlotte's stadium seats 74K and change. The entire upper deck sections above both endzones were covered and empty. I'd say that probably accounted for 10K empty seats right there. Of the rest of the stadium, I'd say it was maybe 70% full, and that's probably being generous. There was probably about 45K tops at that game. |
