Title: With the coaches in the candidate pool - Post by: Cobbvol on December 03, 2012, 03:02:14 EST would we have to wait until after the Sugar Bowl for Strong (Jan 2)? After the Orange Bowl for Fisher (Jan 1)? After the Dallas bowl game for Gundy (Jan 1)?
I think that Gundy may be the one that would head to Knoxville earlier if all the issues with the AD etc are true. I think the other two would may want to coach the bowl game. I also think that Gundy would bring less of his staff to Knoxville. His RB coach just started with him in 2011, so that bodes well for Graham. His OL coach has been with him since 2005 so he would be a possibity to come with him, which is an issue for Pittman. His LB coach is the one from Georgia that has brought in the Georgia recruits which include the Curry brothers. Point being, he may opt to start fresh with a staff that is reflective of his new environment --- the SEC. |
