Title: Re: Hunter Declaring for Draft** Post by: UTnbama on December 17, 2012, 11:38:25 EST I wonder if Bray is going? I wonder too. Heard he wasn't doing much school work this year, or the latter part anyway, probably will. Title: Re: Hunter Declaring for Draft** Post by: Inspector Vol on December 18, 2012, 05:24:35 EST I expect he will make a big splash in the NFL given it will be his 2nd year after surgery. Good speed, route runner, and ball skills you can't teach. He struggled this year but it was all mental. He won't have that issue next year. Seems like a good kid and I wish him well. Probably a 2nd round pick because of this year unless his combine showing puts him in the 1st round.
Title: Re: Hunter Declaring for Draft** Post by: RIPLEYVOL on December 18, 2012, 07:00:06 EST Good Luck Mr. Hunter....make us VOLS proud!!!

Probably a 2nd round pick because of this year unless his combine showing puts him in the 1st round. Likely high 2nd round, but has a shot at low first round, just based on the different projections I have seen. He'll have to improve that in the pros. He will need to get stronger, but he has elite athleticism Title: Re: Hunter Declaring for Draft** Post by: WoodstockVol on December 19, 2012, 06:35:57 EST He did struggle against physical defenses. Well, I don't think he's THAT talented. TO is one of the top 5 receivers of all times, at least in stats. And he's certainly not the head case TO was. So I am going to have to disagree on this one. Title: Re: Hunter Declaring for Draft** Post by: WoodstockVol on December 19, 2012, 04:05:45 EST Hum. Well, I don't think he's THAT talented. He went to UT-Chattanooga Title: Re: Hunter Declaring for Draft** Post by: 101stDad on December 19, 2012, 05:39:46 EST I wonder why Tennessee didn't recruit Him? He went to UT-Chattanooga The key phrase there is "He went to UT-Chattanooga". No other D1-As recruited him, either. Title: Re: Hunter Declaring for Draft** Post by: Jedi Master on December 19, 2012, 07:16:08 EST Quote I wonder why Tennessee didn't recruit Him? He went to UT-Chattanooga Legend has it that he thought he was signing with UT, and was surprised to find out that he actually signed with UTC. Title: Re: Hunter Declaring for Draft** Post by: 101stDad on December 19, 2012, 07:50:53 EST Legend has it that he thought he was signing with UT, and was surprised to find out that he actually signed with UTC. I have a feeling that is nothing more than a legend. Nobody could be that stupid. Title: Re: Hunter Declaring for Draft** Post by: droner on December 19, 2012, 07:58:12 EST I have a feeling that is nothing more than a legend. Nobody could be that stupid. You are probably correct. But remember what Ricky Foggie said. Ricky was a star QB at Laurens High (SC) and signed with Lou Holtz and U. of Minnesota. After spending a few days in the Minnesota winter he said that if he had known how cold it was there he might have gone somewhere else. Title: Re: Hunter Declaring for Draft** Post by: VoLynteer on December 19, 2012, 08:31:08 EST I have a feeling that is nothing more than a legend. Yes, someone could be that stupid. :frown: Title: Re: Hunter Declaring for Draft** Post by: Volznut on December 19, 2012, 08:48:46 EST I wonder why Tennessee didn't recruit Him? Didn't UT play Minnesota in the Liberty Bowl when Foggie was at Minnesota? Yep,It was Foggie's senior season 1986 Title: Re: Hunter Declaring for Draft** Post by: WoodstockVol on December 20, 2012, 03:12:04 EST You are probably correct. But remember what Ricky Foggie said.
