I know they weren't too excited about playing Louisville, but still- it's the freaking Sugar Bowl. If UT were in this game, I dare say we'd pack the place, no matter the opponent. For one thing, we haven't been there in 22 years, so you know our fans would be fired up to go. But even if we had been there lately, this is one game I think we'd sell out even if we went every other year. The atmosphere is second to none, and NO is one of the few bowl destinations where you're pretty much guaranteed to have a good time, win or lose. Unwrapped the tickets on Christmas morning, and I was so excited I think the whole neighborhood heard my reaction. Yeah, the UVA crowd pissed off a lot of Vols with the half time show and their chants of "it's great, to be, able to read". :bird: Which made the win all that more satisfying. :biggrin: |
