Title: Jacoby Brissett is considering UT, says ESPN Post by: Creek Walker on January 07, 2013, 02:24:22 EST I know y'all didn't beat me this time.
Title: Re: Jacoby Brissett is considering UT, says ESPN Post by: Black Diamond Vol on January 07, 2013, 02:55:55 EST I can't imagine that they'd allow him to go to an SEC school, but even if they did, would he be much of a factor at UT? I mean, Driskel isn't exactly an All-American, and Brissett couldn't even beat him out for the starting job at UF. We're pretty much starting over from square one anyway, so I'd rather do it with younger guys than transfers who will only be here for a year or two.

Besides, we have a good fit for the new system in RS FR Peterman :nod:Title: Re: Jacoby Brissett is considering UT, says ESPN Post by: Volznut on January 07, 2013, 03:14:00 EST Moosechump is releasing him....he could transfer. Even if He didn't start He would be an insurance policy if the other QBd didn't either Title: Re: Jacoby Brissett is considering UT, says ESPN Post by: BanditVol on January 08, 2013, 04:22:30 EST It would be good for the depth. Even if He didn't start He would be an insurance policy if the other QBd didn't either Yeah, if nothing else, he could stand on the sideline and point at the gators like CJ Leak did to us...after he graduated. :frown: Good for depth...I agree. I think Driskel is a pretty good QB though. He was one of the top in the country coming out of HS and generally had a pretty good year. One bad game doesn't mean he suxes. |
