Not discounting Worley, but Peterman, Dobbs and Ferguson are all mobile enough to extend plays and or pick up 1st downs to extend drives. We haven't had that in a several years. Peterman looks to have the best arm of the 3. Worley might start because of experience but I suspect he will be passed before the season is over.

I keep hearing this re: Worley vs. Peterman. I like Worley. He was put in some awful game scenarios. Frankly, I thought he did fine, but am not always the best judge. :powert:

Peterman has more God given physical skills that fit what a Butch Jones offense does.  Not a knock at all on Whorley, but just reality. 

I am anxious to see what Dobbs can do.  I'm told that he has "Quincy Carteresque" ability, which says a lot.  Quincy Carter without the drugs was a very impressive athlete. 

In any event, spring practice, and then in to summer workouts, should be an interesting time when it comes to the quarterback position. 

He's obviously very intelligent.  Couple that with Quincy's ability and you have the potential there for a really special player.  I'm anxious to see what he does, too.

But nary a Freddie Kitchens amongst them.

I'm always leery of QBs who are brilliant in the film room, but lack field vision and pocket presence. Dobbs has plenty of brains. I'm just hoping that translates into on field production at this level.

Quincy Carter was good until you flushed him from the pocket.  Could run, but could not throw unless he had time.  I hope he's better than Carter personally.
