Title: Road games in the SEC Post by: Volznut on March 02, 2013, 09:54:27 EST Never easy.
We still have a shot...have to win the 2 left in the Schedule, and at least 1 in the tourney. Lose 1 of those, it's NIT bound. Title: Re: Road games in the SEC Post by: Inspector Vol on March 02, 2013, 10:44:33 EST Well we found out that it takes at least 2 of big 3 playing well for us to win. uga was big enough to keep Stokes off the boards and Golden had a horrible game. He is a bad prima donna. If he doesn't score it affects his whole game.
That and uga is just more athletic than us. In other words our team played like they have most of the year. They over achieved the last few games but it took huge efforts from our big 3 to do it.....no way that could continue. Just not enough offensive or athletic talent to be consistent. Title: Re: Road games in the SEC Post by: Volznut on March 03, 2013, 06:03:23 EST I don't think it's over achieving. Golden was Georgia Mr Basketball and a 4 star. McRae was a 4 star. Stokes was a 5 star. There's talent on the team. However, yes, you can't win being a one man team. For us to win, Golden and McRae have to play well, and Stokes needs to be a rebounding machine. You also can't rely on guys like McBee and Richardson, they are role players.
