They've had some April games in Chicago that were in the 30's (they opened the season there in 94- I was there), and some cool postseason games, but nothing like this. :crazy:

Well, last night's game was snowed out, and this will be the Braves only trip out there this season, so I guess they figured this was the only time to make it up. Baseball isn't like football - players are standing around cooling down between pitches and risk injury when forced to react quickly. Plus pitchers arms aren't accustomed to getting the kind of work they will get in that kind of weather. Wouldn't you think that MLB would try to schedule more early games in warm weather cities to avoid this kind of situation?
