Title: Needed to Share A Great Thing Post by: EmerilVOL on July 28, 2013, 12:23:15 EDT In May my SO Was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. ANytime you hear the Big C being mentioned along with the Colon your first thought is "oh crap is he/she going to be with us very long" since if the Cancer is Stage 4 basically it is lets get it out and pray you are on the right side of the 60/40 or less odds you have of surviving for a long tiime. Well we went through the surgeries and spent the month of may in a crappy time literally. Well as of last week my SO is clear of the cancer and her internal medicine physician does not need to see her till next May. The only remaining hurdles are the chemo treatments but those will not last long. So I just wanted to explain why I was not on the board very much the last few months.
