Title: Re: Cut weighs in on Arian Foster Post by: HerbTarlekVol on September 25, 2013, 06:34:04 EDT Cut is right on the money. Every dollar of Pell Grants go to the athlete. They get meal money after the game.
And again I ask - if he didn't have money for food, how did Foster afford to go clubbing? It's about priorities. Foster had different priorities. Title: Cut sums it up pretty well. He said it is BS in a very nice way. I feel he is Post by: volsboy on September 25, 2013, 06:35:22 EDT genuinely disgusted with the whole "poor player" argument.

Title: Re: Cut weighs in on Arian Foster Post by: TallVol on September 25, 2013, 07:51:34 EDT I agree with everything Cut had to say. I went to school on Pell Grant and also student loans. I wonder when these athletes tour the new modern football facilities, actually how they money came about to afford them these luxuries that only a select few get to enjoy. Pay it forward and enjoy your time in college for free. The envy of the rest of us that have to pay and pay for years after graduating. If they move to pay the athletes, then the universities should move to not award full scholarships and they have to pay something from their college "earnings" to attend.
