Title: Poor Pig........ Post by: droner on October 06, 2013, 04:35:44 EDT The kid was just trying to make a play. But the ball got to the goal line before he did.
I've always been uneasy with players diving and holding the ball out trying to hit the goal line or the pylon. It can be knocked out by a defensive player or fumbled. And sure enough, it happened. But I can't blame a player who goes all out trying to make a big play. We've certainly seen the opposite the last few years. Without Pig, we wouldn't have even been in position to win the game in the first place. Title: Re: Poor Pig........ Post by: VOLveeta on October 06, 2013, 04:41:19 EDT That's exactly what Butch said, he made little out of the fumble and said that without Pig, we aren't in a position to win.
Title: Re: Poor Pig........ Post by: LouisVOL on October 06, 2013, 06:31:15 EDT This says it all. I hate mental errors, I hate lack of effort errors. I have absolutley no problem with physical errors resulting from maximum effort. Pig gave us maximum effort.

Post by: Creek Walker on October 06, 2013, 07:33:22 EDT I absolutely hated it for him. He had a heck of a game. As a matter of fact, my wife had just turned to me and said, "If he keeps playing like this, there are going to be a lot of babies in Tennessee named Pig."
