Title: I saw basically none of the game Post by: Clockwork Orange on October 08, 2013, 03:34:02 EDT As much as it hurts to have come so close and fallen short-- again-- it sounds like nearly everything else was positive.
* Had a very good team on the ropes right until the end. * Worley started clicking in the 2nd half. * We fought tooth and nail to come back in the 2nd half of a game that we trailed by two TDs early. The anti-Dooley effort. * The grey unis were sweet. * The crowd, while not at capacity, was lively and into it. * It may have been a loss, but was probably a huge win for us in terms of the recruits at the game. They got a glimpse of what UT football can and will be. * This HAS to be a big time confidence builder for the team. If there was any shakiness about buying into the coaches' plans, I would think this game dashed it. Am I wrong about any of the above? The only thing that would make it better IMO would be to add the Smokey Gray Helmet with the Power T in orange of course. Other than that I really do like the uniform. I think Gary Danielson nailed it when he said they are nice and no so out there that its not Tennessee.
