The first one signaled the beginning of our demise. Maybe the next one signals the beginning of our comeback Title: Re: Wait...Missouri's backup QB is named Matt Mauck? Post by: BanditVol on October 18, 2013, 06:14:05 EDT There's definitely a weird similarity in names....and they're backup QBs we will likely have to beat. The first one signaled the beginning of our demise. Maybe the next one signals the beginning of our comeback I like the way you think! True story...in 2008, I traveled to LA and attended the UCLA game with my best buddy from college. It was a game we should have won easily, but between the Foster fumbles, Fulmer having LIncoln try 3 50+ yard field goals, and the typical "Chavis collapse" on the last drive, we lost. That UCLA game was the beginning of the end for Fulmer. Just a couple weeks ago, I was in LA and spent Saturday night at my buddy's house. Sunday morning, Kiffin was fired. So the bad luck from 2008 is wiped out, perhaps. |
