If he doesn't sign on for more, who would be your pick for the next 007? Mine would be Nicolaj Coster-Waldau from Game of Thrones. He's the right age and he looks the part. Only drawback is he's not British. But neither was Lazenby, and I thought he did very well in the role- even if we was just a fill-in.
