Don't know about that, but I do know the last time UT lost to both Vandy and Kentucky in the same year was in 1964. Seems like an eternity ago until you consider that UT last lost to Vandy in back-to-back years in 1926.  :hurl:

We beat Ga Tech 22-14 on Nov 7th that year, so you have to go a little further back.

I suspected I knew the answer and just looked it up... I'll let someone else guess, but it's the season that cost Harvey Robinson his job...when Neyland was quoted as being in tears for having to fire him, saying, "He was one of my boys."
