Coming back from every commercial, they're showing Iron Bowl reaction videos of people watching from home.

What a glorious way for Bama to lose!

Not enough bama reactions.  I wanted to see some Game Of Thrones red wedding type of reactions.

Yep.  I've got some upset Alabama relatives this morning, but I also have a couple of very happy Auburn relatives.

I was thinking I sure am glad I don't have any relatives that are Alabama fans, and then I remembered I do.  We don't talk about them or claim them.   :naughty:

A kid (well, he's 28 years old, but still a kid to me since he grew up with my son) who played high school football with my son and then on Saban's first national championship team at Bama co-hosts a morning call in show on the sports radio station in Tuscaloosa.  I feel sorry for him having to take calls from the death wishing Bama fans and the gloating Auburn fans tomorrow.   Hope he takes some Tylenol before the show.  He'll need it.

Heard Bramblett's call on Sportscenter last night. Every time I hear a team's screaming, on-the-verge-of-lunacy radio broadcasters calling a game-winning play like that, it makes me appreciate Bob Kesling a little more. Don't get me wrong, Kesling isn't good at what he does and I ordinarily can't stand to listen to him. But at least he handles the calls with the appropriate mix of jubilation and dignity. IMO, there's a fine line between what guys like Harry Caray, who were made for radio and made radio great, used to do in situations like that and what so many two-bit radio guys these days, who could've never cut it on the radio back when radio was really radio, do.

Edited to add: the version of Bramblett's call that was posted on the Deadspin page is a bit abridged and not as bad. I'm still not a fan, but I guess every broadcaster can't be as great as John Ward.

If we had ever had a play like that, in a situation that big, Ward's call would've been epic.
