Post by: Creek Walker on December 01, 2013, 08:49:13 EST Much as I agree that Alabama has more than its fair share of overzealous idiots, we kinda live in a glass house on this one. It has only been a week since our own Cam Sutton got a death threat from a Tennessee fan. It happens everywhere (lest we forget the shameful tweets aimed at Missouri's kicker after the loss to South Carolina). As society gets more and more wrapped up in sports idolatry, there are more and more nutcases out there...and social media like Facebook and Twitter gives those nuts greater and easier access to players than they've ever had before. It's definitely the dark underbelly of collegiate sports.
