Got my wife this exact camera a bit over a year ago.  It is awesome, and I readily admit it's kinda too much camera for me.  I keep telling myself that one of these days I'll get bored and open the book and figure out how to use it.   :biggrin:

If you want any specific feedback, let me know.  But I love it to the extent I'm able to.

Set the ISO to 100, close the aperature down as far as you can and point and shoot. You can shoot anything at 1/30sec. if you cradle the camera with your left hand to keep it still.

Seriously, I've always wanted an SLR, but I've never been willing to drop that kind of cash for something that my phone can adequately do.  I'm looking forward to learning how to use it.

I'll probably get that or another book like it.  I can't even pick up the camera until Monday, and then I'll be off the rest of the week- plenty of time to master the art of photography.  I expect to be working for SI by next football season. :laugh:

With all respect to Gregg, best to not pay attention to that anyway if you're gonna be shooting inside shots.  :laugh: Just turn that sucker on automatic and roll with it. You'll shoot thousands of shots and gradually start learning all the other settings.
