Tonight they will be replaying the top 10 games ever played on CBS Sports coverage of college football....number 9 is one near and dear to many of us on here.....

December 1, 2001 VOLS DRAIN THE SWAMP....and we sent Spurrier out on a losing note in his final home game as UF coach.  Karma's a pain in the bootay aint it Superior......

19 Carries 226 yards for Travis Stephens and a pass breakup to seal the victory formation for the Vols!!!

8 PM tonight on CBS Sports Channel.....

If memory serves it was Buck Fitzgerald who made the defensive play on the 2 point conversion attempt.  Buck didn't make many plays for UT but that was definitely the biggest of his career.

Those were good times weren't they?

But then I can't believe we lost to LSU in the SECCG.  :frown:

After the LSU 2001 SECCG cluster I told the guys I was with, that loss would be the downfall of UT football as we had known it for several years.

I was right.

Sounds like Stevie is still a little bitter over that two point try. :dielaughing:

What he conveniently leaves out is that if not for a couple atrocious second half fumble non-calls in UF's favor, that game isn't even close, and doesn't come down to the last play. :frown:

It was fun to watch the defense on that game.  The offensive line made holes I could run through!
