What if Spurrier had stayed at Florida? What if South Carolina had beaten UT? What if Kiffin had not told Tajh Boyd that he didn't "fit his system"? I ponder these things. He was a solid commit to Fulmer, apparently. Honestly I didn't even know who Bryce Petty was until midway through this season, but .... wow, just wow. Unbelievable what a dumass Kiffin was/is. It's really truly hard to believe. Fulmer had a lousy recruiting class in 2008, probably the worst of his career, but 2009 was shaping up to be something special. Regardless of how anyone feels about Fulmer getting fired, I am pretty sure that his 2009 recruiting class would have beaten Kiffin's much-hyped (and IMO tremendously overhyped) 2009 class. Just because he got Bryce Brown after signing day doesn't mean he's that great a recruiter. Ah but enough...Jones' 2014 class will be the best since at least 2007 if it holds together. :nod: Title: Re: What if........... That was awful. The thing is, we didn't get stuffed on every play. On the plays Hardesty ran, we gained yards. But for some incredibly idiotic reason, Kiffin was alternating Brown and Hardesty and BROWN got stuff twice. Run Hardesty every play and we score easily..... :frown: Bryce Brown...two carries for zero yards...Hardesty two carries 6 yards. Not only that, but it's not like they were both in at the same time. He kept alternating them FROM THE SIDELINE which meant that between plays they had to run about 40 yards to get to the LOS.
