I'm not old enough to have been around when it happened, but what a disgrace! The guy has got a freakin' statue and this after he cheapshotted an opposing player with a shot to the neck! I would be so ashamed if that were a TN coach. Of course, I was aware of what happened but the way it is portrayed now by media is like it was part of the old codger's charm. :frown:

Most fans at the game thought it was the teams fighting on the sidelines and we didn't know Woody went nuts on the sidelines until we saw it on the TV news after the game.

On the one hand I always thought that Woody Hayes was a genuine nut job. On the other hand, it was a Kliempsein player that he hit. Conflicted and confused. :confused: |
