Regardless of the intent, it's not classy at all. It seems more like a slap in the face to the school and it's fans. Well, much as I dislike Franklin, Kiffin's departure was much more a slap in the face to Vols fans. Had Kiffin DARED put an ad like that out...well Vol fans can't really hate him any more than they already do, but... I think Franklin's intent was probably good, but I agree that it's completely classless. Kiffin doing that would have been a whole other thing though, IMO. |
