Title: I worked today, so I haven't heard a lot of the national coverage Post by: Black Diamond Vol on January 21, 2014, 12:57:43 EST But I listened to Mike and Mike on the commute in this morning and it was, sadly, predictable. After all the buildup, after hearing how Manning will have to play the game of his life to beat the Pats, and even THAT might not be enough, after hearing how his entire legacy rests on this game- well TODAY the narrative is that the Broncos should be very concerned that they couldn't put that weak team away in the 4th quarter. Really? REALLY? :banghead:
I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I am. :frown: Title: Re: I worked today, so I haven't heard a lot of the national coverage Post by: GreggO on January 21, 2014, 05:36:34 EST Must have been heistman voters! Phhhhhtttt! I had a long day myself and didn't get to see the Lady's game (result?). But, I am no longer a follower of the national press. Basturds seem to want to bring down the best of guys. I wish Reggie White was still with us because he would NEVER let that stand for good sports reporting. You can bet the Minister would've set that straight! I miss Reggie as much as I miss all the other guys who felt the responsibility to comport themselve well, not for endorsements, but as a reflection of themselves. Hope those days return. Save ya'll a response........ :loco: G Title: Peyton had "an easy day" due to Talib being Post by: VOLMAN on January 21, 2014, 01:59:54 EST put out by the "dirty hit" was the version I heard. :dielaughing:
