That being said, I haven't watched the video and don't want to. Obviously Ward was way out of line being out in the midst of te cars, but is it possible Stewart thought "I'll buzz him and scare him a bit and put him in his place" and it just went terribly wrong? Agreed. It was a stupid thing to do by both, only it turned out in tragedy. The point on Cowherd is that he's blaming Southerners for something that happened in New York, involving a New Yorker and an Indianan. Pot stirrer or no, he's a moron. I have never been to a race, but I have seen and heard enough to have a pretty low opinion of NASCAR culture. That is not to say that everyone who likes NASCAR is a redneck of the "bad sort", but it IS to say that the "bad sort of redneck" does follow NASCAR. In unwashed droves..... :biggrin:
