Title: Are we surprised by the Bama-TAMU score? Post by: Creek Walker on October 18, 2014, 11:18:12 EDT No? Of course not. Alabama goes from looking average to looking invincible the week before they play us? Yeah, big shocker.
It's 45-0 at halftime, btw. Title: Re: Are we surprised by the Bama-TAMU score? Post by: BanditVol on October 18, 2014, 11:33:27 EDT Texas A&M is a pretty lousy team, but that's still pretty impressive.
But as commentators have noted, they look much better at home this year than on the road. :naughty: I'm not even remotely concerned that they do something like that to us. Title: Re: Are we surprised by the Bama-TAMU score? Post by: VinnieVOL on October 18, 2014, 11:44:50 EDT A 45-0 halftime score between 2 ranked teams? Yeah, I'm surprised. :wow:
Title: Re: Are we surprised by the Bama-TAMU score? Post by: Black Diamond Vol on October 18, 2014, 11:57:39 EDT Sumlin still gets the "Saban in waiting" treatment from the media, but at some point he's going to have to answer for his inability to develop a defense. It's year three of the Sumlin regime, and aTm's D has gotten worse every year. And they weren't very good to start with.
Title: Re: Are we surprised by the Bama-TAMU score? Post by: BanditVol on October 19, 2014, 12:01:51 EDT A 45-0 halftime score between 2 ranked teams? Yeah, I'm surprised. :wow: I thought you were joking, but I looked it up. Tamu is still ranked? What a joke. :dielaughing: They are still living off their rep from the last two years and that one win against a lousy USC jr team, apparently. :dunno: That's how rankings work though...voters are slow to adjust sometimes. Title: Re: Are we surprised by the Bama-TAMU score? Post by: VOLveeta on October 19, 2014, 12:09:14 EDT Slight name change to: "Texas S&M". Just keeping things accurate. :-)
