We lost big, but it was a turning point for our program. We won or tied like 10-12 in a row from that point, and that 1989 season was really the beginning of our rise to national prominence in the 90s.

That was a big game also, but we were out-classed by bammer with Henton as QB, but when Kelly came in we played much better. And it was up and out from there on... |
